About StatusPal

StatusPal helps engineering and IT teams detect, fix, and communicate incidents — monitoring, incident response, and status pages in one platform. When something breaks, we help teams catch it, resolve it, and keep their users informed automatically, instead of drowning in "is the service down?" tickets.

We're a small, profitable, founder-led team. The product works, customers pay for it, and our economics are strong: we can afford to acquire customers aggressively because they stay and they're worth a lot over their lifetime. What we haven't done yet is build a real growth engine on top of that. That's the job.

Why this matters for you: there's no runway clock here and no burning someone else's money. You'd be building growth on top of a business that already works — with the autonomy to focus on what compounds, real ownership through founding equity, and the stability that most venture-funded roles can't offer.

This is not a blank slate. You'd inherit a working product, real revenue, and real customers — and own the job of turning that into repeatable, scalable growth.

The role

We're hiring our Founding GTM Lead — the first person whose entire job is to make StatusPal grow faster.

You'll own go-to-market end to end: both demand (how the right people discover StatusPal) and sales (how they become paying customers). You'll wake up thinking about how we sell more — and you'll have the latitude to test any channel that might work: outbound, partnerships, content, SEO, paid, co-marketing, distribution deals, referral. You decide where to place the bets, you run the experiments, and you own the number.

You won't do all of it by hand, and you're not meant to. You'll leverage AI to operate like a larger team — drafting and repurposing content, researching and personalizing outbound, automating the busywork — and bring in freelancers, contractors, and (if and when it clearly drives more revenue) sales reps, managing them to multiply your output. You don't need to build a big team for its own sake; you need to own and run the growth function so it compounds without the founder in the day-to-day.

You'll work directly with the founder on strategy and have genuine autonomy on execution. This role exists to take growth off the founder's plate — not to check in for approval on every move. Our ambition is to grow several-fold over the next couple of years, and this role is how we get there.
